A set of catalogues detailing the membership register of the elite Alpine Club, founded in 1857. The club was founded to support mountaineers by key figures during the Golden Age of Alpine Exploration.

First Editions. London: Edward Arnold, 1923, 1925, 1928. 8vo. Original red publisher's cloth. Vol.I: vii, 352; vol.II: vii, 375; vol.III: vii, 391.

Bound in original red publisher's cloth. Spine lettered in gilt. Very good. 3 volumes range from very good to near fine.  Covers beautifully preserved, red cloth remains rich in colour and gilt to spines bright and bold. Minor wear to spine ends of each volume, and some very minor rubbing to some corners. Toning to endpapers of vol I & III. Foxing along edges, heaviest to vol.III. Contents very good in all three volumes, with some markings here and there. Overall, paper is fresh and bright. A beautifully preserved set.
